Unfortunately on Mac OS 10.6, we are not going to produce an utility for the DJ 90. HP responded in less than 24 hours - good for them. I have contacted HP support by email, but am not optimistic.Īnother day of this and it'll be time to downgrade to Leopard. I also spent some time on the phone today with an Apple support rep, who was polite but unhelpful. I'm convinced that the update - such as it is - is being installed correctly. I've downloaded and reinstalled the print driver update three times now, reset the printer system twice, fixed permissions and rebooted several times. The utility is a critical part of the DesignJet printing system - it's used for calibrating the printer whenever rolls of paper or inkjet cartridges are changed, cleaning print heads, and other maintenance. But under Leopard I was also able to launch the printer utility - a browser-based HP application - from the printer queue. The printer itself is visible in Preferences and I can print to it. Snow Leopard also broke the HP Maintenance Utility on my system. Yes, if someone knows anything about this, please help.
